Privacy Policy

Viewpam (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has established the following privacy policy to protect the personal information and rights of users and to smoothly handle user grievances related to personal information, in accordance with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Personal Information Protection Act, and other relevant laws and regulations (hereinafter referred to as "Relevant Laws"). This policy applies to all functions provided by yakal (hereinafter referred to as "the Service").

The Company will notify users of any changes to the privacy policy through website announcements (or individual notices).

Purpose of Personal Information Processing

The Company collects user personal information as described below. The personal information processed by the Company is not used for purposes other than those specified below. If the purpose of collection and use changes, the Company will take necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with "Relevant Laws." The purposes of collection and use, the items collected, and the retention and usage period for user information are as follows:

Membership Management and Service Use

Name, ID, Password: Identification and authentication for membership services, maintenance of membership status, service provision, content delivery.
Name, Date of Birth, Phone Number: Verification under the limited identity verification system, notifications, handling grievances, record-keeping for dispute resolution, identification of complainants, verification of complaints, communication and notification for fact-finding, notification of processing results.
Duplicate Membership Information (DI), Encrypted Identical Information (CI): Prevention of fraudulent use of the service.

Handling Fraud Reports and Grievances

Fraud Reports: Verification of report details, communication with the reporter, and other related purposes (personal information is not collected for anonymous reports).
Grievance Handling: Identification of the complainant, and providing some or all of the requested information to or from the relevant department for handling the grievance.

Collection Method

Personal information is collected through fields provided in the application for membership registration and service use, where members input their information directly.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

The Social Security Number (SSN) requested during the use of the services provided by the Company is not stored on the service server for the protection of personal information. It is used minimally to verify the member's accurate information in accordance with the National Health Insurance Act, the Personal Information Protection Guidelines (for medical institutions, February 2015), and other legal grounds.
The SSN is only collected and used for member identification and when related information from the National Health Insurance Corporation is needed. It is discarded immediately after use.
Prescription data, survey data, and other information transmitted by members through the service may be provided to the member’s selected yakal-affiliated pharmacies and hospitals. These recipient pharmacies and hospitals may use the information for purposes such as dispensing, medication guidance, and medical assistance.
